cameo-d, as usual you're right on the money, except I'm not going out on the Old Italian limb with ya. I'm being called "batshit crazy" for suggesting that the book of Revelation has a PERSONAL application.
1. "To him that conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God." ~Rev. 2:7
2. " He that conquers will by no means be harmed by the second death." ~Rev. 2:11
3. " To him that conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white pebble, and upon the pebble a new name written which no one knows except the one receiving it." ~Rev. 2:17
4. "T o him that conquers and observes my deeds down to the end I will give authority over the nations, and he shall shepherd the people with an iron rod so that they will be broken to pieces like clay vessels, the same as I have received from my Father, and I will give him the morning star." ~Rev. 2:26-28
5. "He that conquers will thus be arrayed in white outer garments; and I will by no means blot out his name from the book of life, but I will make acknowledgment of his name before my Father and before his angels." ~Rev. 3:5
6. " ‘The one that conquers—I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will by no means go out [from it] anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which descends out of heaven from my God, and that new name of mine." ~Rev. 3:12
7. "To the one that conquers I will grant to sit down with me on my throne, even as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne."
Yes, what a nutty, batshit crazy idea, that we need to conquer seven churches (CHAKRAS), and that we have an internal battle going on. Even children's cartoons where the devil is talking to someone on one shoulder and an angel on the other are more enlightening than you geniuses. Oh the wisdom that spews forth from these die-hard literalists, especially since not one has been able to figure it out for nearly 2,000 years, always thinking it was about THEIR WORLD in THEIR TIME. Centuries and centuries of fear-mongering, just like the Watchtower. The truth is that it is a TIMELESS prophecy because it has always been about THE INNER, CHRISTIC SELF. Those of you who would rule out the Bible's personal application as a metaphor are merely empowering the book to continue deceiving and inhibiting the spiritual evolution of the Western world.
Once the dark cabal is removed from power and no longer holds it hostage, we will see the end of pain and suffering on this planet, and eventually even death. The return of Christ is through human consciousness, and just as it tore down the Iron Curtain, it will end the tyranny of the negative elite. That's what 2012 is all about, and that's why Jesus said he was returning at the end of the age.
By the way, when Revelation 3:12 says "I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will by no means go out from it anymore..." it is not only suggesting, but flat out STATING the concept of pre-existence and reincarnation." We are IN THE TEMPLE when we are BETWEEN LIVES. The word "anymore" nails it, and it's exactly what Buddha taught, that once we finally get it right, we are liberated from cyclic biological existence, death and suffering.
