Does anyone else besides me, see the potential for some "fun" in this??!!?

As in - say you're the unbelieving mate... You research the origins of the Watchtower Society thoroughly, and when the elders show up... [EEEEvil grin... ]

Start asking them the REALLY difficult questions... Bonus points for making the elders look like idiots in front of your "believing" mate... (Hopefully the believing mate can SEE that the elders' responses are idiotic... )

Methinks the Watchtower Society has set its own people up to receive some faith-shaking REAL information about the Watchtower Society and its past....

(hmmm... There sure are a lot of devils in this post...)

I was thinking along those lines too Zid. I won't confront a witness over their faulty doctrines directly anymore but if one comes to me and wants to talk 'spiritual things' I will certainly not let that opportunity pass without questioning.

Notice the elder never replied to my last e-mail to him in our exchange over the generation teaching? It's been a month now, what happened?

Does anyone know whether the article in a UK OKM will be appearing simultaneously in other "lands"? I have a friend in New Zealand who is an "Unbelieving Mate" (or, strictly speaking, Formerly Believing Mate). She has warned her husband that if she ever hears he has appeared on stage at an assembly giving an experience about living with a UBM (and the usual "encouraging" comments about his struggle for the truth despite her opposition) she'll leave.

So I'm curious about whether the same article will also appear in Australia and NZ. For her, forewarned is forearmed.

I'm sure many ubm's have had little to no contact with the cong for years and now, NOW they want to show up and befriend ubm's? what? they think we are stupid? like we wouldn't know the only reason they are doing it is because they have been told to do it by their leaders? Do they forget we see the effects of jw life everyday and see the mind control?

If I wanted to see them I know full well where they are.

Could be fun if any ubm has the energy for it all anymore. I guess I would make a deal with them, first we will read the C of C book and discuss it then we could read one of their ungodly books. Fair trade in my book. If they want us to look at their crap they just as well can look at ours. If they truly put on the 'armor' nothing they read could affect them, if their faith was so strong they could easily read and debate all the so called apostates had to say.

I am sure that this will have many 'read between the lines' coming from the platform...regarding watching association and especially 'apostates'...the org is not lightening up. This is probably only to those who are considered moldable and convertible.

Oh great. I love this. I have had a nice lull from "visits" with JW's lately... Now I'm sure Sister Herhusbands'LastName will just come up to me and greet me with a big hug and pretend we can be life long friends.

Great. I'm sure The Mr. will be thrilled about this.
