I can't speak for Jeff's motivations when he asked for people's opinions, but at least we both spoke ours.
Just keep in mind the lesson when a woman asks you if a dress makes her look fat or not. Is she looking for honesty or validation?
I guess the key is knowing when people really want us to be honest, or are just pretending they want us to be honest.
I'll never master that part! I do know that the best motivators have the knack of knocking people down, and then pulling them up in such a way that the people get the point, l but don't feel totally invalidated about it in the process.
