Seriously, Michelle... we gather to eat the body of the One who was dead... but now lives. By means of eating from his body... WE live. Spirits (flying flesh eating beings) "feed" on him... as do those who were baptized into that body... and his death... and thus, the death of that body. So that we, too, are dead in body, but alive... in spirit.
