Welcome aboard FadeToGrey!
I am having no luck with JWN login on the iPod Touch 4g either. Maybe iPhone 4 users could chime in?

Welcome FadeToGrey! Thanks for sharing your story. I'm so glad you and your wife made it out together. Good for you for putting her first!
I wish you both all the best.

Welcome, I too suffered from depression. I am glad to say it has now gone. We gradually faded until we now haven't attended a meeting for almost two years.
You will soon be off those pills!

Welcome fadetogrey, your username reminds me of an old favorite techno song by Datura under the name of fade to grey, im also in oz typing this while putting some shrimp on the barbe, feels good not being under the JW Comi-Nazi yoke.
Welcome FadeToGrey,
You must have started lurking the same time as me - I couldn't wait to dip in though. Another Aussie on the board in advance of the Ashes - now that is good news - may the best English team win
Sounds like you always had your head screwed on putting your wife first
Bunch of guys with cars - I'm picturing Mad Max now - bet that was fun. Would be interesting to hear more of your experiences of what it was like for young people in Oz. I think there is a very different vibe in each country. The UK was wholesome and boring and not much happened with acceptable socialising. There was a social party scene, much frowned upon. Ireland was really quiet - one gathering every six months - yawn - certainly not enough to keep the young interested.

Welcome FadeToGrey
Just think you can now start enjoying yourselves and I predict the more you do so, the less the depression will have a hold on you.
My son and I were on antidepressants for 5 and 10 years respectively during our last years in the org. We've been out for 5 years or so and neither of us have had antidepressants for years now. We still have our ups and downs and sad moments, but that's part of life for everyone. We no longer define ourselves as part of that religion and we no longer define ourselves as depressed.
welcome, great news to be able to take the both of you out , couldn't manage it myself. Good luck.
Welkome fade togrey
I'm in Brisbane, where are you?
