I sat through one of these, about 7 months ago. If you're curious about how the circus works, by all means, go. If you want to be insulted, threatened, intimidated, manipulated--by all means, far be it from me to stop you.
For once, I agree with Outlaw. Buy a f***ing pizza and enjoy the first day of the rest of your life.

Tell her that you love her very much.
If you're up to it, tell her that you realize that JWs aren't "the truth" and although she and your father were well intentioned to instill a love of God and desire to live forever, Watchtower Corporation is simply another flavor of man-made religion that sells salvation. As much as you love your parents, you simply can't live a lie, hiding in darkness, pretending that you believe teachings that are false. And that you can't endure being part of an organization that breeds self-righteous thoughts and hatred of those that would expose Watchtower for what it really is.
Of course, this will mean that Watchtower will instruct her to hate you and deride you as "apostate", but she needs to realize that they tell her to do this because you know too much now. You know their shameful secrets and aren't afraid to speak out against their dictatorial authority. They are afraid of what you know and want to keep truth and light away from their business of selling salvation. They have to keep you away from the JWs because others may begin to see the light and their religio-publishing empire will crumble as the worthless 19th century relic of CT Russell.
Yeah, you may be gay, but you also know that Watchtower is a complete fraud and want to get out and get on with your life without their judgment dished out by three undereducated janitors in a windowless room.

Billy - that just about sums it up. I mean, honestly, is there ANYONE who could have said it better than that? I don't think so!

SD-7.....you have come a long way my friend. I no longer hear "W.A." when I read your posts now.
BOW.......don't go, if you have no plans in changing or no longer want to be a JW. It would seem pointless to me. They will only try to embarrass you. Good luck with your life and being happy.

It's very simple really. Just stand up for yourself and don't go. I know it sounds easy enough and dealing with parents that still throw the guilt thing around is tough enough but the sooner you stand firm with your beliefs and by setting boundries sooner than later, your mom will somewhat back off (I hope). Good luck.

A Judicial Committee is designed to give all of the control to the elders. It is not a fair representation of the facts, nor is the standard used to judge the facts a reliable one (see the many changing beliefs of the WTS). Compounding these issues is the fact that the men sitting in judgement likely have no formal training in how to discern facts nor a deep understanding of how humans work, societal forces and similar.
Given the unfair situation, I recommend that you not attend. If you do attend try to equalize the playing field by recording the event, bringing witnesses or bringing an attorney.

Honesty
Stay at home and watch a movie or a footballgame.
You'll enjoy it a lot more than going into a courtroom with 3 monkeys disguised as kangaroos.

Thank your mom and that she raised a son that is respectful and honest.
The JC have no right or understanding of you. Usually, it is best to avoid them, shake the dust off your feet and move on.
