Turn your phone off until after the JC. Then you won't be tempted to answer the phone when your mother calls (or anyone else, for that matter). Just enjoy the freedom!

TAKE CONTROL OF THE JC.
I don't know why everyone on this board seems to be scared of them. You know how many of what they go on is not scriptual based. Bring the bible, and be firm on the bible being used and it's counsel.
Depending on the reason for the JC, they may be feeling like it's the GB or Bible they have to follow by the end of it. You just empower them by following the rules of letting the GB and WT be the deciding factor, of turning a blind eye to the non scriptual things. Don't play the game.

When they show the scripture bout the DF'd one being reinstanted, point out that reading in context, that is not the person who was cast off for having sex with his mother, they just assume that, but no where in the bible was that implied.
If you told them your going out having sex anytime you want, and not gonna stop, then nothing will work. Again depends on the circumstances of the JC.
