Gross! But seriously, they were talking to virgin at that time. I mean, I had no idea what I was doing. I'm sure I was good at it (stroking my own ego) but it was all new to me. I pretty much thought that I had sex at the time. But I didn't.

My husband is very tight lipped. I did check out the new elder's manual but that is about it. Nothing private about another bro/sis.

Hijack to your hearts content...happens to me all the time.
I can't help but conclude that this religion, which started out as a group of Bible student wanting to understand God's word; has evolved into an organization that it's original founders wouldn't want to be members of. They have gone from wanting to show people the truths of God's word as they have come to understand it; to enforcers of man made rules "loosly" based in Bible principles. They expect the utmost of human rights to be exercised toward them by the governments of the world but don't extend these rights to their own members. Even the "world" allows an accused person to be represented by his own counsil and to view any information that may be on record about him.
Ordinarily compasionate people who get caught up roles they are expected to play, can't be themselves and lose sight of what the original intent of their position was. It's the curse of a legalistic organization.

I think a some elders are real sleezy, and I wouldn't trust going to most with a personal problem and as for their wives most are just hanging in themeselves.
I know that they keep files for years, and the thought of some upstart snotty little elder veiwing a mature persons file makes me want to smash them.

Ours were not kept at the KH, but at the secretary's home in a locked file case. In the case was a typed record along with a USB with a spreadsheet, that I used to update.

I remember once as a teenager looking for the kingdom ministries in my father's briefcase when I found some notes. I thought they were from a convention or something until I saw my friend's name at the top and the words "judicial committee". I didn't read any further (although I later found out what she did anyway) but there were a fair few pages.
