Had my first taste of Seitan about a year ago in a vegie restaurant.
Delicious!
(And I'm not vegetarian, FWIW.)

I make Seitan weekly. Its pronounced SAY- TaHN (rhymes with John), but I like saying that I eat SATAN. lol
So Snowbird, how do you go about making the pad tai sauce? Whenever I make it, its always too soy-saucey

LoL, thats what seitan looks like before you cook it & slice it. I usually pull it into ittybitty pieces before I throw it in the pot. Consistency of Pork & tastes like chicken! Chinese resturants call it Mock Duck...I've never had duck so I wouldnt know if thats accurate

I love Pad Thai and cook it about once a week. I first tried Thai food two years ago in Canada and loved it. My daughter and I go to a fab Thai restaurant by Trafalgar Square in London, the food is wonderful, and the service spot on, we were there last Saturday
