  Your joke was very funny! Men have always been "down" on women and
  looked upon us as being inferior. Jehovah himself has assigned to us
  the understanding of being, "the weaker vessel," not insignificant but
  "weaker," and there is a difference.

  Hey ladies don't be mad at me for saying this but here goes,
  3 woman were vacationing without their husbands
  Thay saw a hotel that said "Women only"
  They were greeted at the door, by a VERY handsome bouncer, He instructed them that there was 5 floors. Every floor had a subject, they were to take the elevator and stop at the floor that they wanted.
  First floor~ sign says "Short, plain men on this floor" The women decided that was NOT what they wanted, so they went up.
  Second floor~ sign says"Short, handsome men on this floor" The women continued up the elevator.
  Third floor~ sign says" Tall, plain men on this floor" The women decide to take the elevator up another floor.
  Fourth floor~ sign says "Tall, handsome men on this floor" All the women were excited THIS had to be the PERFECT floor. One of the ladies said "well I wonder if we take this floor what we will be missing, on the next?" All agreed, they would go to next floor.
  Fifth floor~ sign says" This floor is to prove, YOU CAN'T PLEASE A WOMAN":)

  Yeldell2, what you need to remember is that women may not have as much muscle mass as men and may, therefore, be physically weaker in that respect, but we are generally emotionally stronger and genetically stronger (could you EVER picture a man living through labor?).

  Men like to THINK they are superior, but we KNOW we are....we just keep quiet about it.

  Dear RedHorseWoman:

  I realize women are physcially weaker than men. I do not know whether
  we are emotionally stronger than men or not. As yet, I have no evidence of that. Being able to bear children is a physical ability
  Jehovah created into a woman. I do not know whether men can bear the
  pains of childbirth or not, but it stands to reason, they probably could, since they are physically stronger than us. I just know that
  Jehovah helps us spiritually, when when have done everything humanly
  possible in our trials.

  I don't know if your message was meant to be humorous or not. I have
  heard that mentioned among worldy persons before that men could not
  bear labor pains - to some it is not funny. Many women are strong
  willed, and independent like myself. It has been hard for me at times
  to learn to respect elders, when faced with adverse situations. I
  have had to remind myself that they are human (although stronger) and
  that they are subject to the frailties as all of us are. It is this
  thinking that has gotten me through my bad feelings, when sometimes
  I've had to continue to follow the healthy teaching, instead of relying on my own emotions and continue to follow Jehovah's way.

  Perhaps this response belongs in another section of the discussion
  forum. I just think that the woman joke section was not funny.
  Strangely enough, I don't recall their being any "jokes" in the bible.
  I think it is wise to remember, that when we "go there," primarily it
  is worldy thinking and cliches that usually take over. When I entered
  this discussion I read at first thoroughly, wondering what witnesses
  would joke about.

  Patricia,

  I think humor and music are two of life's greatest blessings. They are both enjoyable and theraputic. Both men and women have their foilables and it does'n hurt to poke fun at ourselves and each other, but if some of them are offensive to you, just enjoy the good ones and ignore the rest. We ain't be meanin no harm here. Y'all come ya here.

  Dear Larc:

  Not sure I enjoyed any of them. Just don't think that this is the
  place for that type of humor. It is worldly and has no place (to me)
  in this type of discussion forum. Already to some of the friends,
  a "put down" on women, has provoked some discussions, which bring out
  worldly tendencies.

  To keep it scriptural keeps us all focused on Jehovah's organization.

  I think we would all do well to remember that...
