    Hmmmm... looks like two possibilities to me (though I could be wrong... and peace to you all!):

    1. Someone... "refused" to marry someone... on some "grounds"... but didn't have all the facts as to those grounds, expossing the boyz in Bethel to some... ummm... unwanted legalities. Like being sued for slander. OR...

    2. Someone wanted to marry someone... and didn't have "grounds"... but because the boyz in the hood... uh, local congregation... LIKE him/her... it's been decided to "don't ask/don't tell" whether someone has grounds but just take their word for it.

    That NONE of it is anyone else's business anyway... but solely between the no longer married couple... and God... is never gonna be admitted. Or taught (no way the local boyz'll give up living vicariously through the "juicy" personal revelations they get on a congregational level).

    Ah, well. Thank, YKnot... and peace to you!

    A slave of Christ,

    SA

    If you have to ask for their permission, yea even beg for their permission by providing proof for their perusal and giving them the authority to determine if you have a right to remarry....then certainly you can expect to be obligated to do as they tell you and you are giving them authority over your marriage, your new mate, and your children.

    Apply=plead, ask, beg

    Proof=submiting to their authority for determination

    Anonymous Brother has decided to start closing the links.

    He has uploaded the ks w/3 BOEs onto PirateBay .org

    Keeping with the request not to post 'links' directly ....... once on Piratebay . org please search 'ks10' to locate the torrent

    This is an especially good option for 'newbies' who some posters are less likely to feel comfortable PMing their own links.....

    If you can, he requests you please help him 'seed' the torrent!

    Thank you in advance for all posters assistance in this matter!

    Hugs!

    Our daughter-in-law lived 800 miles from here when she and her first husband divorced. When she moved back into our area, the guy was living with another woman. Our daughter-in-law's parents personally saw the living arrangements, and they also moved back into our area. But when our son and she decided to get married, the elders had to get a letter signed by her parents that her ex-husband and the women were really living together before they would allow the marriage even though they were shown the divorce decree.

    That was 10 years ago. Today our son would have told them to take a hike.
