First and foremost, glad you didn't act on it.
Us humans have a tendency to look for patterns in things. When I come across some crazy coincidence that seems like it could have greater meaning, I try to debunk my own crazy thoughts. Ask questions from the critical point of view.
For example, what about the other poor bastard named Alex Strait? He obviously was a real person, who lived a real life, and died a real death. Was his sole purpose in being born and named A.S. to live x number of years so that he could then commit suicide and be sacrificed in your behalf? Or was he just another guy with the same name and fate picked him from among the group when it became necessary to show you a message?
If this guy died to (indirectly) prevent your suicide, that must mean you are the protagonist in this novel we call Life and he was only an extra. But you can't be the protagonist because that role belongs to the person reading these words right now. Or does that mean each of us is the protagonist in our own mind?
It's a wild coincidence, no doubt about that.

Just don't get crazy and start a religion on this or start telling us that Joeheshua Mexicali has spoken to you.There is nothing wrong with the thought that it is possible (just possible) that this happened for a reason.
I mean, God wouldn't want this guy to commit suicide to teach YOU a lesson. That would be warped. But in the crazy karma of the universe, if this guy was going to kill himself anyway, and the universe made sure he had the same name and similar symptoms, then made sure that you knew about it at the right moment in life, use that crazy karma of the universe to stop and think before you leap. -

You don't have to think of it as this other Alex's sole purpose in life was to commit suicide and save your life. You CAN think of it as a tragedy being turned around to bring about some good.
Thankfully, it did.

I think it's paranormal. There is someone watching out for you and doesn't want you to fluck up permanently.
Why not believe that it's possible?
It has nothing to do with the Bible or JW's or the WTS.
This was a life saving message if I ever saw one. A REAL one, finally.
Actually, this is the kind of pondering that we were warned against.
Why not explore it?
Even just for the heck of it because now we can?
