Why doesn't the Elder's Book give any instructions about Armageddon?

Interesting catch. Most of the book is about DFing. Guess we know where their priorities are.

They already have the survival kits......Asilentone
Ya..
Box`s and box`s of old WBT$ Literature, they can stuff in dead peoples hands..
WBT$ Magazine placement,is going to go way up at Armageddon!..
No, no, no. Everybody knows the JW survival kit should be stocked with a shovel (to bury the 1,000+ rotting corpses per JW left lying around), a pair of pliers, measuring tape, and hard hat (as pictured in the Knowledge Book - obviously those items weren't manufactured post-armegeddon), mana-safe tupperware, and some "C" batteries to donate to the Watchtower society to keep those presses running for the 'New Scrolls'.
Theocratic rumor is that a "Secondary Moses" will be provided to lead the JW's to the promised land - flowing with milk, honey, and new light.

could it be that the WTsoc is actually quietly moving away from the concept of an "imminent" armageddon, just as it has distanced itself from 1975,---- 7000 year day-----& other significant ( to itself ) sundry numbers.
