You have a gift. You capture the tone and the cadence perfectly.

We also pray for those who will no doubt fall asleep during the program, because they worked all day, then drove half the night to get here, then woke up early this morning and perhaps did not have time for their coffee. We pray that you will keep them from snoring to disrupt the program, or from having violent or immoral dreams where they talk in their sleep, which might offend some of the friends here and detract from this fine program of worship.

    LOL!

We pray also for those who have...already opened their sodas, that you will...keep the fizz in them, so that they will not be flat sodas come lunchtime.

I would LOVE to hear someone say this in their prayer. You can't concentrate on the spiritual bull they are feeding you if you had flat soda for lunch!!!

brotherdan--The key is, that flat soda is not in harmony with the Being Whose Name We Mispronounce's will. Imagine if first-time visitors saw people complaining about their flat soda. They could blame it on the program. How sad that would be! Clearly, then, it is Jehovah's will that sodas maintain as much fizz and bite (if one has root beer) as possible.

Please break it into paragraphs and don't forget to include the mindless study questions.
