If your family is JW then get baptized and eventually you will lose them. No matter which flavor of baptisim
I want to get baptized...but how and why should it happen?

There's no rush to commit to anything. Take your time, and enjoy the fact that while you remain in a religiously neutral state, your JW family is not required to shun you.

I have never understood religious grass hopping Joliette.. I do find the Baptist Union very divisive and there are constant squabbles between splinter groups. If that is Christ-like, then go ahead folks. My one and only trip to Alabama found two baptist ministers either side of the house I stayed in... heads of the local KKK. JW's by that standard aren't all that bad.
When I got baptised as a witness of Jehovah, there was a strong anti-labelling within the WT movement. I did all that I did.. because I truly believed I was bringing people to Christ.
Then the Marketing buffs moved in.. the total commercialisation became apparent. No longer vessels for honourable use.. they are for dishonourable use. In my way of thinking... p**s pots have their use.
Just be sure, to whom you belong Joliette... and you will do fine by your conscience and your god.
