    You could visit a Chinese market, they have beautifully colored folding screens, some rather large ones which you would probably really like. If you like wicker that would be another option - these are also quite lightweight if you'll be moving them.

    Hello, asilentone.

    Perhaps you can have a friend cut six lengths and six widths [you determine dimensions], using a miter box, of course, to ensure 45-degree angles. You may need intermediary bracing if the panels are heavy and tall, as well as the 2 extra panel hinges in the middle of the lengths.

    If you take a look at existing panels that may give you some ideas. I'm no handyman but a designer. Sometimes I, too, need help with the practical applications!

    Is this wall for visual privacy or do you require sound insulation also? big difference. Are you trying to make a small studio/set for the production of amatuer porn? What are you trying to do? Tri-fold screens are easy but don't provide sound insulation like if you are sharing quarters with someone who plays music late or whatever. If you just want to prance around in the au natural you can string a rope and put a curtain up. Need more info. to address your problem.

    Go to one of those import stores like Cost Plus or Pacific Imports and get a couple of Japanese three panel screens. Some are very inexpensive and for a few bucks more you can get something that is very attractive.

    I looked on Craigs list and found one for $40. and one for $60. They both would be the right size. The one for $40. is made like someone here suggested. It is 4- 24 inch panels screwed together and look good! Another for $80 was much longer.
