Yeah, hubby loves to string this guy on. I gave him one thing to say to this guy, something about who is his mediator. Then I have to give the hubby the information for the counter attack. It would be interesting to watch.

Loosie says: " But the definition of a miracle is something that has no earthly explanation."

Your right about that , most wonder how can a woman pass 6 lbs. or more from her bottom and live

that's a miracle. And they do that screamin' and passin' out

I say childbirth is a miracle indeed. And trust, when your givin' birth you ain't got time to think about

the science of it, most woman think it's a miracle that they made it through. But anyway I know our

children are a blessing to us no matter which way we think

Probably it wouldn't work at all, but, what about Mr. Mrs. Jones telling the man that he's read everything about them, finds them to be wrong, and would not welcome any more comments in that sense? A direct and flat refusal?

    Hubby done good, there, Josie!

If he enjoys the cat-and-mouse game, let him keep doing what he's doing. Maybe to throw the JW off a little, he could ask if the JW is counting time for his Field Service Reportâ„¢ (the time-stamp makes it soooo convenient!!) when they are chatting about www.watchtower.org

    heh heh

I would ask why these stauch atheists didn't start believing in god after seeing a cat or puppy being born? Don't get me wrong I think birth is a wonderful thing, but it's not a miracle...it is science.

I watched my wife give birth to our three kids. It was really messy. If I believed in a god before seeing that I might wonder why he did such a lousy job designing the delivery system.

Great thread. I laughed out loud several times. Your hubby has a unique opportunity, though. If he can stop having fun for awhile he might just be able to help Tom and his family escape. Now, wouldn't that feel good?

That would be a good thing. I have to ask my husband if he ever thought of that.

mrshones that really kind of made me sick to read as I have heard that so many times. OH my word when he talked about your kids "Your children can reap the rewards of the positve aspects of your lives. (A positive jw life? Not!)" it started to get me upset. I think everyone is right though your husband could have a lot of fun with this if he plays it right. String him along and who knows maybe you husband could wake him up to the fact that this is just a really bad cult.
