Where in the Bible does it say God is omniscient?

I don't care about scriptures that say God is "all knowing" or "know all my hairs on my head" cause that could all be done without being omniscient. Are there any Bible verse's that speak specifically of God's omniscience?

I don't think it does but have a word with those clever writers at the Vatican and they may well insert your suggestion in the next addition. Or somewhere!

Nope, the word doesn't appear in the OT or NT.

It is said that God ( and Jesus) know all, but not that they are all knowing.

Chalam those don't mean God is omniscient it just means he knows all. All information about us could be attainable to a powerful entity without omniscience.

Could you please explain the distinction you are making between "all-knowing", "know all things," and "knowing all"?

Ding, think of a sophisticated computer that could travel the earth collecting ALL data including scanning your brain and collecting your entire collective thoughts and experiences and turn them into data.

This computer would be "know all" but it would not be "all knowing" in the fact that it didn't have the data when it came to be, it had to be collected.

God didn't know Adam and Eve had eaten of the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil until he saw them clothed and then had to question them as to what had happened. This indicates to me that he is NOT all knowing.

Heaven he did know what had happened.

That account is the equivalent of a father saying to his child "Who ate all the cookies"

The father knows his son ate the cookies but wanted him to admit it without knowing he knows.
