What does God need with a Starship or with the F&DS?

  Brilliant.

  (not the acting, which sucks, but the OP. I have seen the odd television production for which the producers have convinced really powerful people to participate - like Obama on the Daily Show. I wonder how much they paid Jehovah to do this one? He was obviously in his OT personna. Testy and beligerent. Although I can understand Him getting pissed off at James T. Kirk. Kirk just has a habit of getting into your face, sometimes. Plus his real world personna acts about as well as Kevin Costner, and that's enough to get anyone off in a bad mood, even God. Yeah.)

  God is a very important person therefore he is very very busy doing..... well it doesnt matter what he is doing, so the only way to talk to him is through his secretary but you can not talk to him either so the FDs will do message delivery.

  See its soo easy. Now they are busy too interpreting Gods messages so read the watchtower

  What does God need with a starship? What does God need with the F&DS? What does God need with a church / kingdom hall?

  These are all things man needs.

  Wow a friend and I weere having this convo last week and I brought up this scene (only good part of the movie.)

  Its funny I always loved this scen but NEVER thought to apply it to the dubs when I was in.

  Like gary said religion and god is a thing that man needs. All the worship and devotion that is spose to go to god by proxy ends up being giving to men (in one way or another.;-)
