198.68.179.2 is in use within school premises, so, sf, conclusions about the user are... And if Dominque probably can't spell his or her own name, it probably isn't his/her name - and the person is probably not bright enough to hack.
Instead, I would phone up (415) 925-4334 and ask if - somewhere in the office - there is a Carl Hornberger *OF Mill Valley* who uses the email addy [email protected] knocking about there. He just might be able to help and see who was logged on to 198.68.179.2 at the time of the hacking - what was the time of the hack, Kent? Phone lookup does not give a Carl Hornberger listed in CA, but does have a few C Hornberger's, one rather closer to San Rafael than the others... Or even email the guy, who is a sysadmin.
Kent - do you have a port scanner in place for the next visit?

Hi All!
The private server belonging to "Motorola" doesn't carry the files no more. Well, it does - but I have used other servers to link to the files, since these are extremely much faster.At the time of the hacking attempt, the security on the server in question were "none-existant". We didn't think there would be any hacking, and "Motorola" did set up a webserver in a hurry just to get the Show "On Air". After the attempt, the security was fixed, but there was lots of attempts on hacking the site.
Now the files are on other servers, but some assholes keeps trying, and it seems someone also do try to block the server by using fast lines and try to download the same files some thousand times!
There is logfiles on that server as well, and I have reccommended the owner to contact the ISP of this smart-ass. The logs shows the dial-up address, and the ISP should know exactly what person had that address at a given time.
It's obvious it's Jehovah's Witnesses behind this! Who else would try so hard to hack servers containing these files? I will say it's more than usually stupid, because it's so obvious. The good thing is we are able to tell the world how "law-abiding" these people really are!
Anyway, I don't think they will manage to do anything but making fools on themselves.
Because of this, I will once again ask people to host one or more of the files on their server. I will make extra links to the files, no matter where they are. The good thing about that is the fact the morons will see these files are spreading like gangrene - no matter how hard they try to stop it.
It's upon time they learn some facts - especcially the fact that NOBODY CARES SHIT ABOUT WHAT THEY LIKE OR DO NOT LIKE! I will keep on publishing facts, no matter what they try. The more crap from them, the more I will publish.
In a short while I will start to publish EVERY BOE LETTER WRITTEN THA LAST 20 YEARS! One by one. And we will also make those awailable on a searchable CD.
