As serious students of the Holy Scriptures, we all KNOW what a great role the history of KOREA has played in the outworking of the Divine Purpose.

(You realize I'm pulling your leg, right? Tell me when to stop...)

This being the obvious and incontrovertible truthâ„¢, we can expect that in the not-too-distant future the WTB&TS will announce that North Korea is the "King of the North" and that Kingdom of Antarctica is the "King of the South." In fact, I expect a springtime special brochure work aimed at bringing this life-saving information to the previously overlooked great crowd of marsupials (who are not of this fold).

A "theatrical spectacle for the angels," indeed! Do angels like popcorn as much as I do?

I'm a bit rusty on new light but here goes:

Canada is the new "King of the North", certainly north of the New Jerusalem, that is Patterson, N.Y. Canadians are known for being warlike, militaristic, atheistic. So it fits.

The new "King of the South" is Mexico, now engaged in a "pushing" with the K of the N. Think Zetas and Cartel del Golfo.

Nathan, you don't get the publisher's Wt, do you?

I have yet to meet a JW who is upset that the WT was completely, absolutely wrong on the KOTN and KOTS doctrines. I guess that is why they aren't upset about the 1914 generation, either.

Not sure if they would go to the King of the North to print all their magazines though. Might be kinda risky, no?

Hopefully, therevealer, you're not doubting the "slave"? Frequently, the Great Jehovah uses a modern-day Cyrus to unwittingly aid his chosen ones. The evil Canadian empire is no exception. Even the "image of the wild beast" proves to be a mere tool in the hands of our heavenly father as he works his NGO magic in behalf of the sheepfold. You should be more worried about the "King of the South", Mexico where corruption is the norm. Our brothers there work very hard for just a few pesos, sometimes just enough to pay government authorities the "morbida" or bribe in lieu of military service.

    with you in kingdom service,

OK, I can buy into this Canada is the King of the North thing (it's North of me) but I think that the King of South has to be California.

Or maybe if the KOTN really is North Korea then the King of the South has to be Australia. At least that would explain Mel Gibson.

Jeff, u r "rightly dividing the word of truth". California does play a role in fulfilling Bible prophecy as the antitypical Sodom and Gomorrah. I'm not sure if you've been stumbled by Bro. Gibson. He is, like all of us, imperfect. Perhaps, if you concentrated on his good qualities instead of focusing on his flaws. . . . . . BTW, is there a more demon-inspired anthem than "Oh, Canada!"?

    Hi TMS,

No, I cannot get the publisher's edition of the WT, but that's OK, because an angel who tells me his name is Greber comes to me during my meditations and whispers sacred and profane secrets into my third ear.

In fact, I am in a trance state now, utilizing the most recent technological advance in Automatic Writing - "Automatic Forum Texting."

How wild do you think things might get if I took an Ambien and some "X" before entering this higher realm of consciousness? Of course I'd wash it down with a dram of Jim Beam - just to extract the tinctures, y'know.
