Creation days - now aeons long, even tho they said this a looong time ago, they are now bringing it back to the forefront -- so with aeons of time in the pre human creation -- how does that tie in with the 6,000 years(days) for our freedom on the 7,000th year(day)?? That was all based on the creative time periods - so does that mean, we have aeons to go before the new system now? - truthlover

Any of you JW lurkers, please be aware that MANY of us here were in the JW organization for multiple decades. Myself- I was in it 44 years from birth. Been inactive and a non-attender of meetings for 7 years now. What made me stop attending ? Injustices committed against me by elders who tried giving me their personal opinions as counsel instead of counsel from God's alleged word the Bible. Also I had doubts about the " generation " doctrine as it's been 96 years now since 1914. Think about it, it's been 131 years since 1879 when C.T. Russell stated we were in the last days. Let's say that a generation lasts 80 years tops - that would have ended in 1994. Therefore that's why the WT society saw the need to put out an article in 1995 redoing the " generation " doctrine. Think about it. Now in 2010 the WT society is pushing a " overlapping generation " doctrine which would extend the " last days " to perhaps 2050 or beyond.
Lurkers, please use your power of reason. You may very well be the victims of deception . Please ask your elders about these discrepancies . I wish you peace, freedom, and happiness. Take care, Peace out, Mr. Flipper

over lapping generations... thats just plain crazy! if their wrong about that and about 607 maybe thier wrong about withholding the
bread and wine to everyone ( so sad ) it's always about Jehovah and his org. and rarely about Jesus.....No matter what Jehovah
wants.......... Just listen to the prayer at the meeting, when someone brings it to your attention you will hear all the thanks to the GB
or the faithful slave They've replaced Jesus! ( With themself) When you read the Watchtower count how many times they use
Jesus name compared to governing body or faithful slave That was not the case in the 60s and 70s when I was growing up...
YES the organization has changed ALOT the light is not brighter..............

The conditioning goes deep...to the core. It took me two years to peer into an "Apostate" website such as this one, when I was first disfellowshipped.
Glad I had a good therapist or I would not have survived.
