There is not one single example of People getting condemned for interpreting (Already written) bible prophecy.

There is no difference between re-"interpreting" an existing prophecy to change its long-established meaning and making up a brand new false prophecy. Both these practices mislead the faithful. Both are condemned.

    Let's start with Acts 13:7-10

[7]... The proconsul summoned Barnabas and Saul and asked to hear the word of God, [8] but Elymas the magician (this is what his name means in Greek) tried to stop them so as to prevent the proconsul's conversion to the faith. [9] Then Saul, whose other name is Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked at him intently [10] and said, 'You utter fraud, you impostor, you son of the devil, you enemy of all uprightness, will you not stop twisting the straightforward ways of the Lord?

    And Ezekiel 13:1-3

[1] The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows, [2] 'Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel; prophesy, and say to those who make up prophecies out of their own heads, "Hear what Yahweh says: [3] The Lord Yahweh says this: Disaster is in store for the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!

    Also Zechariah 13:3-4

[3] Then, if anyone still goes on prophesying, his parents, his own father and mother will say to him, "You shall not live, since you utter lies in Yahweh's name." And even while he is prophesying, his parents, his own father and mother will pierce him through. [4] When that day comes, the prophets will all be ashamed to relate their visions when they prophesy and no longer put on their hair cloaks with intent to deceive.

    Don't forget Jeremiah 26:32-33

[32] I have a quarrel with the prophets who make prophecies out of lying dreams, Yahweh declares, who recount them, and lead my people astray by their lies and their bragging. I certainly never sent them or commissioned them, and they serve no good purpose for this people, Yahweh declares. [33] And when this people, or a prophet, or a priest, asks you, "What is Yahweh's burden?" you must answer, "You are the burden, and I shall get rid of you, Yahweh declares!"

    My reply:

Yes, there is. Go read the account of Hananiah in Jeremiah. If you stamp God's name on your mis-interpretation...stating God said something He didn't say you are a false prophet, like Hananiah was.

You then do reference the Blood issue but this is a difficult one as the Bible is hands down a total ban on life-blood. It is an explained law that notably didn't end with the dietary laws and was considered equivalent to the immorality and idolatry bans in God's eyes.

You are wrong on so many levels, it is stunning.

You are wrong on the level of the OT laws, the rabbinac laws, the pre and post second temple laws, you are wrong from the POV of 1st century christians AND you are wrong from the basis of Christs's direct teachings.

It is quite spectacular how wrong you truly are on all aspects of the blood issue.

My reply: This was simply a repitition of Lev 17 and 18- guidelines for non-Jews lving in the land of Israel to abide by. The newly converted gentiles were being asked to do the same...the term rendered fornication here is defined in Lev 18. It is not speaking of pre-marital sex as Reniaa wrongly stated, but rather marriages to close relatives- forbidden under Jewish law and considered fornication. The guidleines on blood were not put on the same level as immorality as the org erroneously asserts. All dietary laws ended as the Jews were no longer under the law...including blood. Acts 15 is not a new law....but simply a request to make the inclusion of gentiles into the fold more palatable to the Jews.

Why would GOD/Jehovah ( I presume a perfect deity ) rely on imperfect, sinfull humans to spread his word of" truth". Look at all the interpretations , rationale, conflicting beleifs that men and women have to the various translations of the bible..and this has been going on for near 2000 years ....Nobody can agree on anything...Yet supposedly getting the right information is essential for gaining everlasting life.

The "right" information is pretty simple, imo... though I understand that people have mucked that up pretty good.

Have faith in Christ, and put love and mercy above all else. Everything else will flow from those.

And for all the people in the world though that show love and mercy 1st - but don't have faith in Christ - sucks to be you.
