I've had them come to my door too. The approach was very similar to JW's ---not at all like the Mormons. I ended up giving them a few dollars for a historical publication (albeit heavily slanted) about the Great Disappointment.

I was rather surprised. I figured they would be more like JWs in rejecting the young earth creationism.
There are still a lot of similarities. Both believe in living forever on earth. earthly resurrection. millienium of course. Big dif is trinity.
