I believe that JWs enjoy making their religion DIFFERENT. They TAKE PRIDE in their weirdness. They enjoy being secularly unschooled. They want the "world" to view them as ignorant so that they can enjoy piety.

Finger, it was meant in a good way. I was meaning you got me seeing it from a point of view so simple, yet profound enough that it 'broke' my brain. Similiar to the movie scenes where something is told to some robot in a sci-fi show that causes him to breakdown with 'error, error, error' because it's unable refute and process the logic.

I am not justifying anything the WTS has done past, present or future. Why should they go back since they established their positions legally? The WTS has also said that while they "misunderstood" that this misunderstanding worked out to their benefit from 1929 to 1962, since it kept jws from breaking their "neutrality." Remember that before 1929, during WW1 the WTS said that the organization and individuals compromised their neutrality and that was why they ended up being closed down and with the directors in prison in 1918 per the WTS. The WTS switched back in 1962 and many jws privately were astonished since so many jws had suffered for that stance.
Are you surprised that the WTS is hypocritical in this situation....?
