I think you guys need to get a room.

You say lots of folks visit this site to fill a need, to tell someone their story, something that bothers them within the JW community. That's GREAT! I have not suggested that such ones do not share their issues. I've had a billion threads asking people to share their opinions and experiences. That's obvious.
Once again, within the context of the "Bethelite" thread, I'm saying, we shouldn't give a platform to fraudulent ones. Don't say a "Bethelite" is going to expose this or that when in fact, it's very questionable that the person is from Bethel or simply a hoaxer. Don't facillitate it. Don't bring attention to hoaxer's words about Bethel innerworkings....THAT is the simple point behind the thread.
Marv, do YOU think this "Bethelite" on the other thread is legit? If you do, then you're stoopid. If you don't, you're just a rebel-rouser.
Minimus makes the mistake of asking me:
“Marv, do YOU think this "Bethelite" on the other thread is legit?”
I do not think whoever is “Bethelite” is any more or less “legitimate” than you. In both cases allegations of unverified fact represent an allegation of unverified fact. As you say things you are unable to verify, I am sure “Bethelite” does the same. As you have made extraordinary claims with no means of verification, I am sure “Bethelite” has, too.
So what is your point?

I get it! You're trying to say you're not legitimate! Damn.
Minimus writes:
“… we shouldn't give a platform to fraudulent ones”.
And precisely where have I said otherwise, you fool?
You wouldn’t know a Dick from a Jane, or from a Spot!

and I know YOU have done nothing to help JWs get rid of the blood doctrine too.

Holy Moly!
(1) People can speculate about what is coming up next, or interpret what is said to mean what they view it could lead to. One example might be if they resolve to stay away from entertainment at a Grand Boasting Session as meaning an upcoming ban on entertainment. There is no guarantee that it will ever be fully enacted, but it could be enacted without further warning.
(2) There are also rumors that get started. Someone may later prove that such rumor is wrong, or qualify what it really means.
(3) It may originally be true, but the writers adjust or even cancel the change because the apostates are spreading the truth. The pio-sneer adjustments slated for the 2008-09 circus year is an example--they could well have been planning on cutting the requirements, but since the apostates already posted it, they decided to make liars out of the apostates. Or, they could have decided simply that such adjustments were not necessary.
(4) Unlike the witlesses, we are allowed to cross-reference anything we see fit. We are allowed to type the term into our favorite search engine and access whatever sources we damn well feel like. And we are allowed to discuss whatever we find from those sources, and others are allowed to hit different sources and discuss different viewpoints on the same topic. The witlesses are not.
