My friend..You are one tuff old bird and you can be very sensitive..
You have given me advise over the years..I have always Appreciated it and taken it to Heart..
We have always spoken truthfully to each other and today is no exception.
My computer is messed up so I can`t get to the thread that offended you..

I think you should keep telling your story..I`m not the only one here that enjoys your writing..
You have gone though so much..In some ways more than me..
You also have an incredible knowledge of the Wacked out Cult we came from..
I personally have learned alot from you over the years..

I usually don't offer my opinions on argumentative issues that arise on this board because I post in my own name and I don't want readers to really see how dumb I am!
However, today is different because one of my friends has been insulted by the disapproving opinions of a few, and, now we the majority, are going to lose out because Farkel refuses to continue to tell his life story and open himself up to further attack. Thus, we won't read Farkel’s account of his disappointment after disappointment because of not being hired by any important high-tech industrial corporations, even though he was immensely qualified, because of following WT orders in regards to the draft. Extremely interesting story that I don’t want to give away just in case Farkel reconsiders!
We also will miss out reading about what could have been Farkel’s successful career in music – He’s a brilliant concert pianist.
Farkel is no ordinary person, but a very gifted human being. He has extraordinary talent but his life was negatively influenced by a sham of a religion that his parent forced upon him.
To you naysayers: Don't you dare blame Farkel for allowing the religion to influence him claiming he could have chosen another way to live his life. He did what all of us did who are of his generation of Witnesses. We did what we were told because we were exposed daily to a life or death message. We didn't have the Internet to expose the fallacies of WT. As young people, we didn’t have life-experiences or education to gauge the religion by. Media expose’ was minimal. WT’s successes in the Supreme Court were legendary and impressive so we didn’t doubt.
Farkel’s story, as well as the stories of other JWs of his generation should be told in order for the young to not repeat taking the detrimental path we took because we were sincerely faithful to what we thought was a religion led by God.
I can’t say I blame Farkel for backing off in that I’ve been attacked too, but mostly by JWs, although it has been disconcerting to be attacked by some former Witnesses too. I press on mainly because I want to help others not fall prey to Watch Tower lies or to help those who are mixed-up and confused because of being a WT cult member. This was Farkel’s motive too.
Well, at this point, it doesn’t look like our plea to Farkel to continue with his story is changing his mind although I hope I’m wrong. I just know that I’m sorry that his good intentions have been misconstrued by some which has resulted in our loss.
