Can someone tell me the minimal amount of weapon-grade Anthrax spores i should stockpile in my home to safely keep the government in check? you know, the goverment has it... what good is a militia if its just armed with old huntin' rifles?

is it best to store it in the freezer or in the garage? right now i keep it in the trunk because my wife does not read the labels on stuff in the freezer and ever since King, our grizzly bear, got hold of the bag she said i should not keep it in the house.. at least not until i found a way to prevent the neighbours garage door from interfeering with the trigger mechanism.

I saw that on the news. Thought at the time. God! How is the Father
going to live the rest of his life after TAKING his son to the death area,
giving him the" tool"to end it all.?????

I feel guilty for smoking around my little kids...Who died from Cancer
"I think the U.S.A is going to hell in a handbag"

Yes I am a Limey living in Canada. I LOVE my American friends.
But truly!!!Giving gun lessons to kids????

TD: Thats what im tellin' you, the goverment keep re-interpreting the 2nd ammendment to exclude weapons like uzis, tanks and nuclear weapons! what good is a militia if it is not properly armed? it would be like fighting the red army with swiss knifes!

its stuff like this which makes me happy i got the back of my pickup truck filled with barrels of nitro-glycerine in case they make any other crazy changes...

(on a more serious note, im not against the idea people should be armed with guns so they can overthrow the most powerfull army in the world on a whim... it got a quaint historical quality i find quite amusing and harmless.

I have just noted that whenever the gun issue come up, "the right to bear uzis", logic seem to go out the window and the arguments take a certain generic form which i cant resist)

Nukes = suicide. Nuclear weapons aren't for domestic use, so there is no "fight fire with fire" point here. An argument can be made for other countries to have nukes because the US government has nukes. Just as the US government wouldn't use nukes on its own soil as that would be cutting off its nose to spite its face, the citizens wouldn't use nukes domestically as the outcome would be the same.

Now, if you want to argue RPGs, tanks, body armor, anti-aircraft weapons, hand grenades, etc... I'm on board. If someone misuses them, there are laws against that. If someone misuses a steak knife, baseball bat, screwdriver, or a stick, do you ban it? Cain killed Abel before weapons were even invented. As 9/11 demonstrated (once again), trying to make everybody sit around a camp fire, holding hands, singing Kumbaya by taking away weapons is pointless and just plain stupid.

The 2nd Amendment implies equal ams for citizens as for government. When the choppers with miniguns come for you, do you really want to have to defend yourself with your deer rifle and .25 handgun? The 2nd Amendment isn't about hunting, collecting, or even crime prevention: It's about killing army guys.

Well the "right to bear arms" argument should go out the window since owning a class III weapon does not fall under that umbrella. A person must apply for and obtain a class III federal firearms license, which means passing background checks at the federal and local level. More importantly, the person must obtain written authorization from the local police department. At any point in the process, the application can be denied without prejudice. It honestly seems to me like my Canadian and European friends think we all own fully automatic weapons here, when the reality is that it is often simply impossible

I agree with you that this invalidates some of the arguments that are brought forth by gun owners and Second Ammendment advocates. Clearly a citizenry with only small arms is no match for a modern army. But all humor aside, I think it is also obvious that armed conflict takes place at many, many levels and it is certainly possible to subdue a country collectively while still being unable to subdue the citizenry individually.

The governement doesn't need weapons to bully the citizenry, it has the Supreme Court.

But surely a federal government which you needed tanks to fight in an all-out civil war would use the most powerfull weapons at its disposal? small tactical nuclear weapons are extremely efficient at massed forces and tanks and do not generate that much fallout.

The 2nd Amendment implies equal ams for citizens as for government.

thats what im talking about! they got em, so should we. nukes for everyone!

heck ya! and when it come to killing, nothing beat a nuclear weapon!

phew, for a moment i allmost thought you tried to say some weapons are to dangerous to trust the average joe-blow with!

If daddy didn't bring his sons to this event (which evidently wasn't illegal) the son would not have died. Sorry, but I think the father is MOST responsible for his boy's death. It was stupid to bring kids to a gun fair and let them play with machine guns.

TD: Well, i think we basically agree -- i dont think really good objective arguments can be made why a group of people should not be able to deside its their right to own hand guns or not.. its just the way it is.

as for citizen owning tanks, grenades, anti-aircraft weapons -- i dont need to say anymore!
