[ 37 ] Beginning in 1980, occasional extensions to Gilead were established in Germany (called "Gilead Extension School") and in Mexico (called "Gilead Cultural School of Mexico" [ 38 ] ) to provide training to student missionaries speaking German and Spanish. [ 39 ]
I know a brother who attended Gilead School in Germany. It was in 1980s.
Thank you for the info, didn't know this started in the 80ties.
I was expecting more training of missionaries, since the wts is experiencing more growth in third world countries.
There is the Watchtower Educational Center in Hawaii for the Pacific. So perhaps there is one too in Germany for Europe? That branch prints most of the literature for Europe.
