I don't think I misunderstood anything. Your Dad & this Gay activist had something very much in common: They were members of controversial groups of people who believe they know what's best for them -- regardless of what anybody else thinks, right ?
How do you know you are heterosexual? (I'm assuming here) How does someone know if they're not?
Why should we take your word for it? Or, theirs!? Who are any of us to doubt or dare to condemn?
I didn't put the word STUPID in your mouth, you used it about a gay man standing up for his rights and others.
I simply asked if other people might also be STUPID for standing up for their rights and others.
