I went to a very refreshing meeting once. The WT conductor was hella fine with no wedding ring. Found out later he was married, just not wearing a ring. So it ended up not being refreshing after all.

If you feel asleep during the meeting - when it was over, you woke up refreshed.

I found them mentally draining and then further depressed cause I was told I was supposed to feel good and I didn't.

I used to enjoy speaking and reading the WT that made the time go by faster. Now they just suck!

For me it was like drugs, at first maybe compared to the funny weed, as the

years pass into heavy drugs never fullfilling your needs, so you sitting there

at the meetings all space out in the end.

At first the District Assemblies where fun-a change of pace. Eventually, I faded from both the Sunday meetings and the Book Study in my congregation, though I was attending another congregations Book Study simply because I knew the householder.
