As usual you've got the wrong definition there, Yadirf. I'll leave it up to your fertile (read "full of manure") mind to figure out the right one.

A better definition of a word is this: "false prophet": one who teaches falsehoods in the name of God.

Can you explain how one shows faithfulness to God by giving heed to false prophets, Yadirf?

Not so! The difinition I cited was from The American Heritage Dictionary. Here's more of the definition it gave:

ag·nos·tic n. 1. One who believes that there can be no proof of the existence of God but does not deny the possibility that God exists....

WORD HISTORY: An agnostic does not deny the existence of God and heaven, for example, but rather holds that one cannot know for certain if they exist or not....

Daniel 11:35 ... a KEY prophecy that must be fulfilled before the "time of the end" gets underway.

I'll repeat: Some real impressive credentials you have there, AlanF.

As usual, Yadirf, you prove yourself a liar and a cheat almost every time you post.

    Here are some facts:

From the American Heritage online dictionary: http://www.bartleby.com/61/50/A0145000.html , the definitions of "agnostic" are:

NOUN: 1a. One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God. b. One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism. 2. One who is doubtful or noncommittal about something.

ADJECTIVE: 1. Relating to or being an agnostic. 2. Doubtful or noncommittal: "Though I am agnostic on what terms to use, I have no doubt that human infants come with an enormous `acquisitiveness' for discovering patterns" (William H. Calvin, New York Times Book Review August 10, 1997).

The historical development of the word is irrelevant to how people use the word today.

Here's a similar set of definitions, from Merriam-Webster's online Collegiate Dictionary:

a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (as God) is unknown and prob. unknowable; broadly : one who is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god
You deliberately failed to list the bolded definitions above -- the ones that describe my views. Readers can easily see for themselves that you learned your dishonest quoting practices from your Mommy.

    I repeat, Yadirf:

Can you explain how one shows faithfulness to God by giving heed to false prophets?

Ah, Yadirf, now you change your tune. No matter what, the evil apostate must be branded with whatever feather you can find.

Given a great deal of evidence against the existence of entities like the various Gods of the Bible, and nothing more than gut feel or emotional belief in favor of it, and no absolute proof either way, the intelligent person reserves judgment as to the existence of such entity or entities.

    And once again:

Can you explain how one shows faithfulness to God by giving heed to false prophets?

Also, can you explain why someone should give heed to a religion that produces liars such as yourself?

" in the time just prior to the beginning of the true “time of the end”, erroneous ideas would become erased from the doctrinal structure of the true Christian Congregation"

Is there any suggestion that this would be refering to doctrins
of WTBTS such as blood for example?
The WTBTS will retract several doctrins such as refusing blood transfusions that have caused many to leave or be df'd? Thus peoving to be the one true religon?
No sarcasm here intendeed this is just the way I am intreting the meaning of your thread.

Right, the agnostic is so "intelligent" that he doesn't know for sure whether God exists or not. Now THAT is the mark of true intelligence!

Yes, because it has reference to EVERY doctrinal error.

The WTBTS will retract several doctrins such as refusing blood transfusions that have caused many to leave or be df'd?
According to the prophecy upon which this thread is based, yes that's true. Would it make a believer out of you if you were to actually witness such a thing take place? Will you at that time recognize it as a fulfillment of prophecy, or simply a change made out of force of circumstances?

Thus peoving to be the one true religon?
Would you expect any less out of the TRUE religion?

I'm not really sure how I will feel about it. I believe it will happen. I'm not sure how I will feel about it. I have been expecting this stuff to happen since I was a little girl. Don't know why. Don't know that I want to know why. I'm just reading and reading and reading and hoping to some day put all the cr&%p thats been in my head for ever in some kind of perspective. My shrink says im gifted. I asked her where customer service was so I could return it. She didn't see the humor. Oh well.
