Watchtower admits failure to deal with details

I have uploaded to my blog a short article presentation highlighting an admission by Watchtower of failing to deal with details that challenge its notorious blood doctrine.

The article is titled Blood – Watchtower admits “we have not dealt with all the details”.

The article is available at: http://marvinshilmer.blogspot.com/2011/02/blood-watchtower-admits-we-have-not.html

    I remember those letters, Marvin.

    R. Jensen really backed the WT into a wall - and, he's from Phenix City, Alabama, at that!

Truth be told, the WT couldn't address the details of Mr. Jensen's letters because WT knows, Scripturally speaking, they don't have a leg on which to stand.

    Snowbird,

We agree about why Watchtower intentionally chose not to respond to all the details inquired of by Jenson. Watchtower’s response shows that Watchtower is all about Watchtower and not at all about helping individuals, including its own appointed officials.

    Infuriating!

Here sits an organization claiming to speak God's innermost thoughts on what people are supposed to do and how they are supposed to act.

And yet, when it comes to prohibiting potentially lifesaving medical treatments their response is "Oh, we haven't quite worked out the details yet. Wait on Jehovah, then it will all work out." This is what happens when unqualified cult leaders are put in charge of other people's LIFE AND DEATH medical decisions.

    Snowbird writes:

“Mr. Jensen's final letter is a heart wrencher.”

I remember one of the times those batches of letters were reviewed at Bethel. Tension in the room was tremendous between those who were incensed that a man was being treated so badly by Watchtower and those who, like contemporary leaders in Iran, wanted to disfellowship the man for daring to ask the hard questions and persist in doing so. Heart wrenching does not, I think, adequately depict the lamentation I observed.
