Thank you Marvin for bringing this topic up again. I thoroughly enjoy reading and re-reading Jensen's letters and the WTBTS' replies.
The more I read the letters the more I'm convinced that the WTBTS is screwed up in their thinking on the blood issue.
I can't help but picture the WTBTS as the 'cowboy' that shoots himself in the foot.

Barney Fife comes to mind. But, in Watchtower’s case, any comic relief stemming from its teaching is more than countered by the pain and anguish imposed upon so many Witnesses over the years.
When you read Jensen’s letters and Watchtower’s responses it is easy enough to see the steamroller at work. It does not matter how sincere are the questions, or how much need there is to have an answer. Watchtower does not care about folks. Watchtower cares about Watchtower, and that’s it.

I have often wondered how those letters became public.
There are only three possibilities that I can see:
1. Jensen
2. WBTS
3. Watchtower mole.
Does anyone know if it was one of these, or
is there another source I have not yet considered?
