No I've never been a JW but I do "discuss" the Bible, Christ, and those things with them...well with anybody actually.

    How about you?

Was raised in the religion and left at 24 years of age due to realization that I required more than just a life of waiting and warning; I am 26 now.

YES! Monkey's built the universe. That's why we share a common ancestor! lmao

Solipsism sounds egotistical at first but if you think about it.... we live in a VR dream state at night and rarely become lucid within it. How can we be sure? And I suspect if you ever asked experienced psilocybin or salvia testers (like the ones from the Johns Hopkins University studies, of course), they would probably buy into the idea with ease. Plus, everyone's seen the Matrix, right?

I'm no solipsist but I do have some crazy ideas I'd like to share with you someday after I've had a drink or two. It's my best guess for our existence and why we suffer if an intelligence is responsible for our consciousness.

No, I don't have any confidence in my little amateur philosophies but they're fun to kick around.

I have always liked to write science fiction so the "crazy ideas" are very appealing to me since they can always be worked into some crazy cool scifi story.

Oh yeah, that's the kind of stuff I like to talk about. My wife gets tired of me talking sometimes lol.

Of course no one can know how or why the universe is the way it is, or what was the first cause. Believers will say it was their god of choice, but this is nothing short of a simply a guess. For which there could be an endless amount of guesses.

"In many cultures it is customary to answer that God created the universe out of nothing. But this is mere temporizing. If we wish courageously to pursue the question, we must, of course ask next where God comes from? And if we decide this to be unanswerable, why not save a step and conclude that the universe has always existed?" - Carl Sagan
