Yes. I wrote to London Bethel with a question, in March, and got a reply in the following May. The answer was a complete waste of time, they even suggested I read a Questions from Readers which I had actually quoted in my original letter. They went to answer things that I had not asked and that were irrelevant to the problem.
I spoke to the elders in the congregation and one of them told me that writing to London Bethel is a waste of time as they are only allowed to quote what is printed in the literature. He recommended that I write to Brooklyn which I did and I got a reply in the July.
The letter was better in the fact it answered my question, not specifically, but they inferred they were guessing also!!
They did not write to the congregation elders but the letter was posted in London even though it had the Patterson headed notepaper.
