Ya know Syl, I read this post about a minute after it was up, so no replys were here yet, however, I see we all have more or less the same answer, having been in the Borg, I had a "friend" in high school, the only person who honestly kept up a friendship with me, maybe it was just pity, who knows.

I was the typical Witness kid in School . I was friendly with lots of people ....but no real relationships that lasted outside of school .Maybe one other witness girl ,Denise , during High School yrs we were pretty close .

All of my friendships, either inside or outside The Truth TM , have been transient and temporary. The longest a friendship would last would be a few years... then they'd move out of town and drift away. Anything even close to being a "Best Friend" would be few and far between. Now that I'm swearing off being a JW forever, I'll need close friendships more than ever, especially considering that I might stand to lose my family at some point...

I had two. Karen Cecilia and Leslye Ann. Karen is still my friend to this day and I hope to go visit her soon.

in high school had a couple but sadly we never kept in touch;Micheal Phipps and David Sealy,2 of the funniest lads I've ever met and all the years later never met anyone that can come close.
