Bah, it's just murder, why should that be rated R?
It's not like it contained something that no human should ever do, like having sex or saying certain combinations of consonants and vowels.
I didn't think it warranted an R-rating myself. I've seen worse slide by with a PG-13. Other than the scene in the cabin, with the fingers getting cut off, I thought the violence was pretty tame.
It all sounds like the original True Grit with John Wayne. Down to the hangings and chopping fingers. Love that movie. Totally ADD
