It's the same point I made last year about the non-existent 40-year period of complete destruction and depopulation of Egypt that certain Watchtower apologists insist occurred during the Neo-Babylonian era (I think the Society is silent about this). Ordinary business, administrative documents, monumental stele, and other records show that no such period existed.

The book is based on a study of the data from several thousand cuneiform tablets, including dated contracts and other business documents, and astronomical tablets giving the positions of the heavenly bodies in relation the each other and to the Zodiac in particular years. A careful analysis of relevant texts in Hebrew and Aramaic (the Elephantine Papyri) has been performed as well, and 400 modern sources have been used.
The challenge from Alleymom is quite simple. She stated “Just go by the actual kings, whose names and regnal lengths are known from
tens of thousands of cuneiform tablets from many different towns and villages all over southern Mesopotamia.”
I would have to see these tens of thousands of cuneiform tablets for myself......Spade/AliceinWonderland
Have the thousands of dated contracts and other business documents been criticized?.....Spade/AliceinWonderland
Do you want to see those cuniform tablets that you can`t read either,too?..
Anyone thinking Rolf Furuli is an unbiased scholar should know that he's a JW.

And anyone thinking that Spade/Alice is an unbiased poster should know that it's a troll.
For anyone who wants to attempt to read some Babylonian business documents, Google has a free ebook on the topic that you can download.
Selected business documents of the Neo-Bayblonian period, By Arthur Ungnad (1908)

Note the year of publication, 1908.
I wonder if this book is in one of the Bethel libraries?
Google has performed a great service by making the following volume available as a free download.
(Note the year. One year before The Watch Tower magazine started to be published!)
Transactions of the Society of Biblical Archaeology, Volume 6 (1878)
http://books.google.com/books?id=KSgGAAAAQAAJ&printsec=frontcover&vq=egibi#v=onepage&q=egibi&f=false
This volume contains the following important articles.
"Babylonian Dated Tablets and the Canon of Ptolemy", by W.St. Chad Boscawen, pgs 1-78.
"Remarks on Babylonian Contract Tablets and the Canon of Ptolemy", by Theo. G. Pinches, pg 484-493
Of course the WT is rightly suspscious of these tablets, and other proof that their chronology is rubbish, because the Bible has such a wonderful provenance, we have all the auto-graph originals of all 66 books.so we know that no priest or scribe altered the Bible.
Oops ! sorry, we have nothing at all to back up the claims the Bible makes. The Bible has no provenance.
The article by Boscawen published in 1878 shows the agreement between the dates of the buisness tablets and Ptolemy's dates.
The hard evidence of the large number of business tablets really puts an end to The Watchtower's claims concerning the neo-Babylonian chronology.
The ironic thing is that the evidence was published before The Watch Tower even started to be published!
I don't think The Watchtower really cares if they are right or wrong about 607BCE.
The Watchtower's doctrines, whether right or wrong, compose the glue that holds the organization together!
