We don't have this expression in the US. "I always 'answer up' at every meeting." I love it! So, thanks to all who use it.

Once I attended a foreign language meeting in Florida and the WT conductor said "answer for us brother xxxx" everytime he chose a participant. At first I couldn't figure out what he was saying because of his strong creole accent and the brothers' foreign names all said at once. We say "answer up" in Australia.
What's the American equivilant then?
