Is the term brazen conduct similar to loose conduct? They have had that one in place for years but it appears the definition of loose conduct is as loose as the term.
It is not just similar, it is the EXACT SAME word. It is the "new light" translation of the same Greek word, "aselgeiai" in Ephesians 4:19 and other places. In short, they found that "loose conduct" was too sexual sounding to English speaking elders and that too many other "sins" were being given a pass for lack of a clear category for them. So they reinterpreted the word as "brazen conduct" so that it could encompass ANY sort of independent thought or behavior.
