    3. Why has God allowed suffering?

For a time, Jehovah has tolerated rebellion

against his sovereignty. Why? To show that no

effort to rule without him benefits people.

(Jeremiah 10:23) After 6,000 years of human

history, the issue has been settled. Human rulers

have failed to eliminate war, crime, injustice,

    and disease.-Read Ecclesiastes 7:29; 8:9;

    Romans 9:17.

We still don't know how long Adam was in the garden before Eve, of course ---

As much as I hate quoting the Bible, this seems appropriate:

1 Kings 18:27 " Call at the top of YOUR voice, for he is a god; for he must be concerned with a matter, and he has excrement and has to go to the privy. Or maybe he is asleep and ought to wake up!'"

OHHHHH.... That's it? That's the BIG issue Jehovah has with mankind? FUNNY how the Bible NOWHERE mentions this specific issue ANYWHERE... and oddly enough the Watchtower can't pull any better scriptures out of its butt to prove it either.

    Nice.

After 6,000 years of human history, the issue has been settled.

Now that the issue is "settled"... THEN WHY ARE WE STILL HERE???????? Oh wait, the "spiritual paradise" has arrived and all JW's are currently experiencing it. Right...

They were saying that the issue was settled in the 1980s. So, why do we need to go through more trouble to prove a point? Is Jehovah simply trying to shake everyone out of the New Dark Ages?

And, if it was settled in the 1980s, we could have avoided plenty. Two Gulf wars, wars in Afghanistan and Yugoslavia, the planes flown into the World Trade Center, Enron, California's rolling blackouts, OJ Simpson murdering his wife, Michael Jackson molesting the boys (supposedly) in the 1990s and dying in 2009, Bear Stearns collapsing, and the fake Swine Flu pandemic could have been avoided. And, the future holds some even worse times. The problems in Europe and the Middle East are nothing compared to the worldwide Depression that will happen when the US dollar collapses (if QE2 doesn't do it, QE3 and beyond will). Environmental protection regulations will create a fake energy crisis that could make the ones in the 1970s look like wimp crises. The sickness care bill will force people to purchase sickness insurance under jail threats from the IRS and force everyone to file forms 1099 with every business they do $600 or more of business with during the tax year. S-510 outlaws growing your own food for distribution and probably even having your own garden (which is going to push more people down when hyperinflation from QE-infinity comes along.

And what does Jehovah gain from all that? Or is he waiting for Agenda 21 (or its deluxe version) to be implemented? Perhaps he wants us to all be slaves for the duration, under the guise of always being about to liberate us. Let us actually be free, and he would lose that scam. So far, I see no evidence of God as a savior.

I can't believe this silly 6,000 years thing is still around. I hoped that after the last two Creationist/Intelligent Design brochures came out that JWs would at least abandon these inaccurate dates for human existence. The ID folks mostly have. Heck, they have mostly dismissed the chance of the Genesis account being literal. Every time I think the WT is moving even just the tiniest bit forward, they stumble right back.

If the issue is settled then JarHoover has failed miserably to vacuum up war, crime, injustice and disease.....why?

Oh, sorry. The god the GB push around doesn't exist...that's why!
