Yeah the whole "God is allowing man to try every form of government" thing is pretty lame.

Oh, nobody had tried Nazism so he let hitler come along and slaugher 6 million Jews, as well as cause the death of probably 40 million more through WWII.

Oh nobody had really tried Communism so he let old Joe Stalin give it a shot. 20 million dead people later, still Gods not satisfied so he lets Mao give it his best shot in China. Another 30 million dead at least, and still Jehovahs sits on the sidelines.

Geez guys, isnt it obvious why we are still here? You have to do the math. God doesnt want anyone destroyed so he is allowing this system to go on so the 250,00 or so who come in every year can be saved...nevermind the 70 million who are born each year who have to die.

If you believe JW theology then Job proved imperfect humans could be faithful. Jesus proved perfect humans could be faithful, and his murder gave all humans the right to eternal life. Remind me what the 2000 years since Jesus were for?

What God says does not always happen, look what happened to the promise given to Moses!

I was just about to mention that when I saw your comment.

I have often wondered: If Jesus paid the price for mankind's sins with his death, what is the purpose of this 2000 years of human misery?

I do love how they love to still speak for God. It seems as if they actually BELIEVE God is speaking through them, and that they know the status of the most important issue in the universe. How presumptous!

Yesidid - The witness belief and I suppose some others might be on the same wave length is that Jah is waiting and waiting so that in the future no one can say jah executed satan because he was afraid he would prove able to sway mankind to his side. Now the point you bring up about jesus' sacrifice, are we to suppose that jah would have or will spare satan and waste the purpose of his sons death IF satan wins?

JWs who seriously believed that Jehovah's kingdom was on its way, are probably the ones who will be most likely to be poor in retirement and suffer from depression.

The question JWs should ask is, - why Jesus arrived in 1914? , then picked JWs in 1919 to preach the King and the Kingdom and then let three generations of humans who heard that WT message die, without seeing the promised fulfillment of that promised Kingdom?
