What you are missing dear friend, is what IS missing, any clear statement in the Bible, or indeed anthing at all, that proves the WT chronology has any credibility.
The R&F would believe absolutely anything, no matter how crazy,....

How can history be wrong? History is what happened..................oh, wait, Faith in Action DVD..............history can be altered to favour the watchtower!!

The Borg isn't above changing history or even making people disappear from history (See: William Conley). They aren't above 1984 and Stalinesque methods when it suits them.

The Watchtower doesn't need to prove the year 607 BC now .The latest understanding of the Bible in line with Daniel 12.4,9 proves that itb is the date God Yahweh wants us to know .
607 BC is in line with 70 weeks of Daniel 9.24 when counted in a reverse way .
The understanding came in 1984 AD and we count 70 weeks this way : 7 times 70 days = 7 times 70 years = " 7 times " // + // 70 years .
1984 AD - 70 years = 1914 AD - 2520 years = 607 BC .
1984 AD - 2520 years = 537 BC - 70 years = 607 BC.
So , we have four valid dates that cannot ignored or refuted: 607 BC, 537 BC, 1914 AD , 1984 AD .
When we take the year 587 BC into account then we have :
587 BC + 70 years = 517 BC + 2520 years = 2004 AD.
587 BC + 2520 years = 1934 AD + 70 years = 2004 AD .
7 weeks as " 7 times " 7 days = " 2520 years or 420 years + 7 years .
607 BC - 7 weeks as " 7 times " as 420 years = 1027 BC - 7 years = 1034 BC .
537 BC + 7 weeks as 2520 years + 7 years = 1984 AD - 1991 AD.
517 BC + 7 weeks as 2520 years + 7 years = 2004 AD - 2011 AD .
