MISERYLOVESELDERS: As far as I am concerned, anybody who believes in Jesus or is part of Christendom is 'in the Lord'. The JWs have a self-serving reason to insist that JWs only marry other JWs: they want a certain amount of singles in the congregation because they are hoping they will be available to do favors for all the users in the congregation. They must know that once a woman is married they can't go up to her and bother her. They don't give a rats ass about the welfare of the single women. They couldn't care if they drew their next breath.
"Marry only in the Lord", along with other verses, Jehovah's commands, or Paul's advice?

i agree with LonghairGal. If someone is a Christian, he/she is in the Lord (doesn't have to be a JW). Actually I don't believe JWs are in the Lord, but rather in the org.
