here is an old pi, 'pie in the SKY' question:
If you stretched an ideal rope around the great circle of the ideal-surface earth, and lengthened it by 0.00005% (by 20 meters or 45 feet) and wedged it up EVENLY all around, could a mouse get under the gap?. that's only 5 /100 000th of a percent longer.
try the same with the universe, at least 90 billion light years in horizon perimeter.

Hrm, what could the WTBS say....it is worshipping science? (And you know how they truly feel about science).
A pi day as perfect as this one only comes around once a century. Will the paradise earth be here before the next one?? How many 'generations' would that be, :D.

Our lab group from university had a reunion today, conveniently on pi day. We had pie for dessert. And in honor of St. Patrick's weekend, we also drank a lot of C2H6O (that's alcohol).
