I have 2 yrs of college credits at the community level( associate in Arts) and a 2 yr associate degree (Associate in Science) passed the state board Rn exam for Rn degree. ( BTW the Rn exam for Associate and BS take the same exam . the only difference in BS is that you get managerial skills and public health administration classes etc. the medical part of the exam is the same. (per my state board)I have the option of bridge program( 1 yr) to acquire a BS in nursing. I was also certified in psychiatric nursing while I worked. I regret I did not just attend a four year college but there were money,kids and all that stuff. I am the first person in my family to get any type of college.) and yes it is community college but the credits transfer to at four yr college. I do know that not all credits transfer- do be sure before you take a class - ittransfers.
