I describe the energy or presence of someone as like a vibration around them. I can feel energy from most persons. Some people believe all living things have energy.
For example someone walks into a room and is very upset, angry whatever. He does not have to say a word, you can feel it. At least I can.
Okay. I'm fine with whatever you wish to call it. But, is it a phenomenon of science or merely a description of ordinary activity?
I've always thought that Science tries way too hard to convince us that their definition of ENERGY is meaningful. It seems to be whatever
they want it to be.
In physics, energy (from the Greek ?ν?ργεια - energeia, "activity, operation", from ?νεργ?ς - energos, "active, working") is a scalar physical quantity that describes the amount of work that can be performed by a force, an attribute of objects and systems that is subject to a conservation law. ...

The amount of WORK that can be done by a FORCE?
Okaaaaay.....what is WORK?
Work is the application of a force over a distance. Work is equal to the product of the force and the distance through which it produces movement. Although both force and displacement are vector quantities, having both magnitude and direction, work is a scalar quantity, having only magnitude.
Okaaaaay....what is a FORCE?
Force is an influence that causes a mass body to accelerate or change its velocity.
Huh? We are down to what? an INFLUENCE?
WHERE did all of that mumbo jumbo get us in understanding ENERGY?
Sigh......
I guess I'm just stupid.
