So much guess work. There is nothing to indicate that the 6th day ended as soon as he created Eve. The funniest part is the claim that Adam felt no desires for sex because he was perfect. I guess he had no desire to eat either.

Adam would have watched the birds, bees and animals having sex. He did not know what a woman was. It would have been prefectly natural to snuggle up to a friendly monkey and have it away. Would this be a worse sin in the eyes of his voyeuristic god than eating an apple?

I was told, back in the mid-70s, that Adam needed to alone long enough to ponder the meaning of disobedience and the death that results from it. He would see animals around him eventually dying, and from this learn that his fate would be similar.

I always wondered about the whole woman creation thing. The way the Bible is worded it's almost sounds like God forgot to give Adam a means to procreate, despite giving all the animals mates. So he was like, "Oh crap, I knew I forgot something." So he makes Adam pass out, bada-bing, bada-rib, and wah-la.....
So, did God forget to make woman or had he planned it? Or was Adam staring at his tube steak thinking, "What the hell is this for?"

I was there at the Toronto convention in 1967 as a pre teen and got slapped by my elder dad for not sitting still during the 1975 'revelation' and book release.
The " how long did it take Adam to name the Animals" debate addendum carried the WT through Oct 1975 failure until about 1980 (so that's 4 years) then most of the million that left had been culled out and they went back to the hard line.

God had forgotten that at some stage in the future he might have to make a 'complement' for this species.
Eve was an afterthought.
