No, it is not a joke. We had another April Fools day storm here in 1997. I think that one dropped about 3 feet of snow. We are bracing ourselves up here. Peace, Lilly

As long as its above 30 degrees, it feels like spring to us. We roll down our car windows and smell the fresh air and enjoy the "warmth". I live south of Boston and our current snow totals so far this season is 60 inches. And friday may drop another 12 onto that.

Been there, done that... lived in Florida for over 20 years...hated, I mean HATED it! I'm a New Englander at heart...and Boston is my home.
I think it's crazy that it's going to snow on Friday... Today was gorgeous here... If it does snow on Friday, I doubt that it will stick.

I was born and raised in Boston. I miss the cooler weather in July and August while down here in Texas.
But I don't miss February up there.
